It is a wonderful event; and this year it also an opportunity to learn from and show solidarity with Palestinian people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year was no exception &#8211; it proved to be a wonderful and important moment of solidarity and friendship.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the start we had a very moving tribute to Fatima Al Ajarma, who died this year at the age of 100, after a lifetime of resistance demanding her right to return to her land in Ajjur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can watch the tribute from her granddaughter, Kholoud,  read by Sheffield PSC activist Annie O&#8217;Gara: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"A tribute to Fatima Al Ajarma\" width=\"525\" height=\"295\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_Vr9aY9ieOU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also read the tribute <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/spbr.org.uk\/index.php\/a-tribute-to-fatima-al-ajarma-from-her-granddaughter\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As our overall theme this year  was&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/spbr.org.uk\/index.php\/health-is-the-theme-for-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\">health and health inequalities in Palestine<\/a> we had two speakers that gave us insights into different aspects of health care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We heard about the impact of Covid-19 on healthcare in Aida Refugee Camp, Bethlehem from <strong>Dr Mohammed Abu Sroar<\/strong>.
